Prior to founding Altostrata, Anton was the VP Corporate Development for Finavera Renewables, a Renewable Energy project developer, helping to build the company from a start-up to a listed company with a market capitalisation in excess of CAD$ 100 million. During this time he also consulted to Longview Capital Partners, a listed Canadian Investment Bank, helping them to establish a Cleantech investment platform and fund their portfolio companies. A graduate of the Sydney Institute of Technology (SIT), Anton commenced his career with technology start-ups typically managing the corporate and business development function, later consulting for likes of HP, IBM and Perot Systems (now Dell Services). He presently sits on the Board of Hydroventura Chile SpA -a Chilean hydropower developer and the Advisory Board of US based Renewable Energy technology company Principle Power Inc. Anton has worked with number of governments on their investment policies relating to clean technologies
As a senior legal Director at Barclays Capital, Tom has been involved in the funding of numerous cross-border emerging market deals. He has extensive experience in structuring across a range of asset classes and sectors and has been counsel for the bank’s new product approval process. Tom has also been responsible for the establishment and development of Barclays Capital’s operations in Moscow. Prior to Barclays Capital he worked as a solicitor for Clifford Chance LLP in the Debt & Equity Capital Markets advising on bond issues and other financings for corporates, sovereigns, and financial institutions and Minter Ellison within Commercial and Litigation. Tom has a Master of Laws (LLM) – Cambridge, England and 1st Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – Australian National University. Tom speaks English, Russian and Czech
Torsten spent much of his early career with Euromoney Institutional Investor where he was responsible for the development of a global portfolio of Renewable Energy Finance Forums creating a platform where capital markets and renewable energy industry could meet and interact at the highest level. He then went on to become the European Managing Director for the Cleantech Group creating strategies for their information provision and advisory service offerings. Torsten is currently the CEO for Pure Energy Intelligence - a Renewable Energy and Carbon Project Originator focusing on Russia and CIS, and is Advisory Board Member to listed German Investment Fund – Mountain Cleantech Invest AG. He has a Degree in Political Science and Law from the Technical University of Dresden and the University of Hagen. Torsten speaks German, Russian and English.
